Franklin Delano Williams - mtDNA Testing Migrations Maps(SLIDESHOW)

.....In 2007, I signed up for The Project's Worldwide DNA Study. I got my DNA results back with a nice Certificate of mtDNA Testing. These results identified my main and sub Haplogroups roots. I had these results added them to the FamilyTreeDNA database. They use the results to produce migration maps connected to my main and sub Haplogroups.

What is the Genographic Project?
National Geographic and IBM are leading this landmark anthropological five-year research study to answer the oldest questions we have about ourselves: Who are we and where did we come from? In doing so the project will also create the world's largest survey of DNA samples to map how humankind populated the planet.

The Genographic Project uses sophisticated computer analysis of DNA voluntarily contributed by hundreds of thousands of people—including indigenous and traditional populations and the general public—to reveal man's migratory history and to better understand the connections and differences that make up humankind.....
