Reflector.com - Editorial: "Jobless ignored in Raleigh"

....Thank you so much for writing this editorial! I'm from Ayden and now live in Augusta, GA. In GA, NC and across this country, the jobless have been sent to the back of the "political bus". The 2010 Elections were all about jobs until the Republicans won. Now, they only talk about debt, taxes and repealing progressive legislation. It is time for all of us to seek the middle ground.....reducing waste and unnecessary government expenditures while taxing the wealthy and major corporations to help maintain necessary government services, fix our crumbling infrastructure and educate our children.  Read the Editorial and give them so feedback..
....The GOP-led Assembly aptly demonstrated its view of the unemployed by blocking an extension of their federal benefits for six weeks. Republican leaders attempted to cast blame on Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue for the delay, but it was Perdue who ultimately bypassed lawmakers to restore the payments after an unnecessary tug-of-war......
